  • All adult members in the household must be a first time homebuyer – have not owned or been on title of a real property for three years prior to the application date.
  • The selected buyer(s) must have the financial capacity to purchase the BMR unit, including and not limited to: a 3% down payment, at least a 640 FICO score for all adult household members that will be on the 1st loan, and be able to secure a first loan from a 1st lender that can finance a BMR property.
  • All adult household members on title must provide a certificate of completion for a HUD approved homebuyer education course prior to the close of escrow.  A HUD completion certificate is not required to submit an application.
