Janet Howley received a Master Degree in Urban and Environmental Policy at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Boston College. Her work has focused on Affordable Housing, most recently as Vice President of Community Services & Housing at Northern California Presbyterian Homes & Services (NCPHS). She was Director of Asset Management at East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) and worked at Mercy Housing California as Senior Asset Manager. Prior to this position, she worked in the Community and Economic Development Agency at the City of Oakland, from 1988 through 2007 as a Housing Development Coordinator, Manager of Housing Development and Interim Director of Housing & Community Development. Janet moved to the Bay Area following a two year assignment with Harvard's Kennedy School of Government which required travel throughout the United States to evaluate the work of a national foundation. Currently she serves as Board Chair of Bay Area Affordable Homeownership Alliance (BAHHA) and is on the Board of Directors of Lifelong Medical Care, a primary safety-net provider of community health care in Oakland and Berkeley.
Kevin Brindley has over 18 years of experience in mortgage lending, 11 of which have been in the Community Lending Arena. He is a Loan Officer with Best Capital Funding focusing on layering first time homebuyer programs for buyers in the San Francisco Bay Area region. Kevin has established himself as an expert in the field who’s Program knowledge paired with Investor knowledge has made him a favorite resource for program administrators spanning the state.

In addition, he has been a housing consultant to several municipalities and organizations. Prior to 2004, he worked for the City of Oakland, Community and Economic Development Agency (CEDA) as the Director of Housing and Community Development addressing a range issues to uniquely expand affordable housing through rental, homeownership, homeless reduction programs and community development efforts.
