Many affordable purchase programs and/or down payment assistance programs require a U.S. Housing & Urban Development (HUD) certified homebuyer education certificate. Certificates can be attained from one of the HUD providers listed below. Note: An education seminar is different from BAAHA's workshops. No certificates are provided for specialized workshops  that BAAHA offers, such as specialized Homebuyer Assistance or BMR Program focused  workshop.  BAAHA also encourages households to search the internet for additional  HUD Approved homebuyer educators.  The education can be completed through a HUD Approved educator that offers the course virtually.

If BAAHA has no available HUD certified homebuyer education seminars scheduled, a certificate may be attained through a multitude of other U.S. Housing & Urban Development (HUD) certified agencies.
