AHOP applicants must complete a HUD certified education course and provide a copy of their HUD Homebuyer Education Certificate at the time they submit their Program Application.
AHOP applications will be made available on the BAAHA website after the first AHOP Homebuyer Education Seminar is conducted – to be scheduled in February of 2019.

The Antioch Home Ownership Program (AHOP) expands homeownership opportunities for homebuyers who live and/or work in the City of Antioch to purchase a home in Antioch.
How Does AHOP Work?
AHOP will provide homebuyers guidance, support, and access to resources and services to become a homeowner. AHOP will assist you to:
All AHOP participants will be required to have a certificate of completion for a six hour HUD certified homebuyer education course prior to submitting an AHOP application to BAAHA. The City of Antioch is scheduling to conduct its first HUD homebuyer education workshop sometime in February.
Please make certain to register with BAAHA to receive updates on upcoming homebuyer education seminars AHOP participants may secure a Homebuyer Education Certificate of completion from any HUD approved organization. What Financial Subsidies May Be Available for Homebuyers?
AHOP subsidies can increase the homebuyers purchase price and/or to lower monthly ownership costs. Eligible AHOP homebuyers may be able to access a mix of the following subsidies. Some of the subsidies referenced below may be combined to expand the amount of financial benefits homebuyers receive.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, January 18th, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Nick Rodriguez Center located at 213 F St, Antioch, CA Room 220.
